  Business Assistance - The Chamber offers assistance to business owners through the Small Business Development Center at Austin Peay State University. Counselors from APSU come to Dickson County to meet with new and existing business owners to assist with various issues affecting business.

  Business Seminars - The Chamber sponsors business seminars to assist business owners. These seminars provide information on business issues, laws and regulations affecting businesses. 

  Industrial Development - The Chamber actively promotes Dickson County as a location for new industries. Every new manufacturing facility means jobs and payroll circulation through every business in Dickson County.

  Business Development - Take advantage of the many opportunities the Chamber provides for you to meet your peers and promote your business through Chamber Coffees, Membership Luncheons, Business After Hours, Seminars, etc.

  Internet Site - The Chamber is on the worldwide web. Through the Chamber’s web site (www.dicksoncountychamber.com), information about Dickson County is provided and Chamber members are listed by business category. Chamber members may link to the Chamber’s web site. The Chamber’s web site receives an average of 1,300 hits per month, thus providing another avenue to promote your business.

  Referral Service - The Chamber receives hundreds of calls from consumers looking for businesses to meet there needs. The Chamber refers these consumers to our members first. We want to refer your business.

  Marketing our Community - The Chamber spends thousands of dollars each year to promote Dickson County as a place to shop, visit, live or locate a business. The Chamber provides many opportunities for our members to be a part of our marketing program through advertising and sponsorships.

  Tourism - The Chamber actively promotes tourism through its tourism committee. More tourism means more opportunities for your business to sale its products. The Chamber mails thousands of brochures a year to promote tourism in Dickson County.

  Stay Informed - State and Federal legislation affect the way you can do business. Stay in contact with your legislative representatives through the Chamber’s Legislative Breakfasts, proclamations from the Chamber Board on important issues, and personal contact from your Chamber representatives.
